Win back your motivation
If you’re like me, you have invested a lot of money and put in a lot of effort in your education in order to be successful in your corporate career. You’ve been promoted during your studies, and now you earn a good salary. Your employer is a “prestigious” one. You spend so many hours a week at your job without getting the appreciation, recognition and monetary rewards from your bosses. Maybe you know it’s time to change something, but you don’t know where to start.
But maybe you’ll tell me you’re tired.
Maybe you’ve tried to stand up for yourself at work before and you haven’t felt listened to. Maybe you were passed over for a promotion, or watched colleagues get bogged down in the corporate system.
Your motivation for your job has disappeared and you don’t know how to get it back. Despite working hard all these years, you don’t know how you can make a change and maintain your job status and salary.
Here is the brutal reality: Not many people love their job, you are not alone.
I know this doesn’t change your situation, but at least, it’s comforting to know that there are many people out there with the same issue as yours. It’s comforting in the sense that you can take a breath and relax because nothing is wrong with you.
Look, I know how the “lack of motivation” patterns gets you stuck, I have been there myself, and it was not fun when going through it.
See, motivation is not something you lack.
You’ve probably been thinking about changing several things in your career for a looong time without taking action because you’re sick and tired of feeling sick and tired.
But motivation can only come from you taking action on the things you want to change.
Successful, forward-thinking people know that getting into action is going to help them get to their goals sooner than waiting for circumstances to change by themselves.
It’s time for you to take action.
What can you do to start taking action and be able to face the next few months with less stress and frustration and simultaneously win back your motivation at work?
This is why I am pleased to invite you to my workshop on September 25th, 2019.
“Win back your Motivation: Prepare, Discuss and Negotiate for 2020 and master your best Year-End Performance Discussion ever.”
Details for the workshop are in the event announcement here.
Feel free to share with whom you know needs to regain their job motivation back.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
